OUR MISSION
We at The Drama Club believe that participating in all aspects of drama is beneficial to people of all ages, especially children and teens.
It is the mission of The Drama Club to help children and teens become more self-confident, more creative, more intuitive, better able to handle problems and changes, more empathetic and better in social situations.
It is our goal to have as many people experience the benefits of drama. We do not require auditions to join our programs. Every participant will receive a role in our productions, regardless of talent or previous experience. Our programs are inclusive and open; we believe everyone can make a contribution and has talents to share.
We believe in building communities where people accept each other as they are, work together towards common goals, and realise that there is a place for everyone. We believe that we can use drama to teach people about themselves, about interacting with others, about expressing their creativity and about the power of confidence. We believe in working with dedicated, professional people who have a passion for drama and children in order to provide exceptional programming and produce memorable, high quality productions. Finally, we believe that dramatic actvities, performing in front of others, putting on plays and musicals, should be fun - it is our #1 priority. Having fun makes it all possible!
